Grandett Auto Detailing Service Policy

This policy explains important service expectations, customer responsibilities and how Grandett handles service-related concerns.

Last updated: August 13, 2026

1. Service Scope

Every Grandett service has a defined scope. The result of a service should be evaluated according to:

  • The service selected.
  • The areas included in that service.
  • The vehicle's starting condition.
  • Material and surface limitations.
  • What can reasonably be addressed within that service.

A maintenance-level service does not implicitly include every process from a premium service. If you are unsure which level fits your vehicle, the service pages on this website describe what each one covers, and Grandett can recommend a level after reviewing your request.

2. Vehicle Condition

A vehicle’s current condition can affect:

  • How long the service takes.
  • Which methods and products are appropriate.
  • The result that can realistically be achieved.
  • The service level recommended.

Detailing is a significant improvement process, not a restoration to factory-new condition. Some stains, odors, scratches, defects, contamination or material damage may be permanent, or may require work outside the confirmed scope. Where that is the case, Grandett will say so rather than imply a result it cannot deliver.

3. Customer-Provided Information

Recommendations, timing and pricing discussions are based on what you describe about the vehicle and the service you want. Accurate information — including known problem areas, odors, spills, pet use or previous damage — helps Grandett arrive prepared with the right approach and the right expectations.

4. Vehicle Access & Preparation

Grandett needs access to the vehicle for the full duration of the confirmed service, including the ability to open doors and work around the vehicle. Please have the vehicle available and accessible at the confirmed time and location so the service can begin as planned.

5. Mobile Service Location

Grandett provides mobile detailing at your home or workplace within the Nashville area, which means the service depends on a suitable working environment: enough space around the vehicle to work safely, and a location where detailing can reasonably be performed. If the confirmed location turns out not to be workable, Grandett will discuss alternatives with you rather than proceeding in unsuitable conditions.

6. Pricing & Scope Changes

If the vehicle’s actual condition calls for work beyond the confirmed service, Grandett will raise it with you and explain the options before continuing. The scope and price of a service are not changed without your agreement. New pricing requests are handled through the free detailing quote request.

7. Existing Damage & Pre-Existing Condition

Vehicles often arrive with pre-existing conditions that are not caused by detailing, such as:

  • Scratches and paint defects.
  • Set-in stains and discoloration.
  • Worn or aged interior materials.
  • Damaged or brittle trim.
  • Loose components or fasteners.
  • Prior interior damage such as tears, burns or heavy wear.

Detailing can make some of these more visible once surrounding dirt and contamination are removed — a clean surface shows what was already there. This section describes pre-existing condition only; it is not a disclaimer for careless or negligent work, which Grandett takes responsibility for.

8. Personal Belongings

Please remove important personal belongings — documents, electronics, valuables, medication, child seats you prefer to handle yourself — before the service begins. An empty interior also allows a more thorough and efficient result, since surfaces and storage areas can be reached properly.

9. What Detailing Can — and Cannot — Correct

Professional detailing can substantially improve how clean, fresh and presentable a vehicle looks and feels. What is achievable on a specific vehicle depends on:

  • The starting condition of the vehicle.
  • The condition of the materials themselves.
  • Age and normal wear.
  • The type of contamination or staining involved.
  • The service selected and its scope.
  • Previous damage, repairs or permanent staining.

Grandett would rather set an accurate expectation before the service than promise an absolute result that a vehicle’s condition does not allow.

10. Weather & Environmental Conditions

Because service is mobile, certain weather or environmental conditions may affect the ability to safely or effectively complete a detail. When conditions affect a scheduled service, Grandett will communicate with you about it.

11. Service Completion

A service is complete when the work included in the confirmed scope has been performed. When possible, reviewing the vehicle together at completion is the easiest way to raise anything that deserves another look while Grandett is still on site.

12. Grandett Satisfaction Promise

Grandett Satisfaction Promise

If Something Needs Another Look,
We’ll Make It Right.

If you notice a specific area related to the completed service that you believe needs another look, contact Grandett and identify the concern.

Grandett will review the reported area in relation to:

  • The confirmed service.
  • The scope of work.
  • The vehicle's condition.
  • The result delivered.

We’ll correct it — “If a correction is needed, we’ll take care of that specific area so it meets our service standard.”

The promise provides a process for reviewing a legitimate concern about a specific area included in the completed service. If Grandett determines that correction is appropriate within the confirmed service scope, Grandett will address that specific area so it meets the applicable service standard.

What the promise does not cover:

  • It is not an unlimited guarantee or unlimited free re-detailing.
  • It is not an automatic refund or a repeat of the entire service.
  • It is not a warranty against future wear, use or new contamination.
  • It does not promise that every stain, odor or defect can be removed.
  • It does not promise correction of permanent damage.
  • It does not upgrade a service to a higher package.
  • It does not promise factory-new condition.

The promise is about accountability for the confirmed service scope — not an open-ended guarantee.

13. Reporting a Service Concern

If something related to the completed service needs another look, the process is straightforward:

  1. 01

    Identify the Area

Tell Grandett which specific area of the completed service needs another look.

  2. 02

    Contact Grandett

Provide enough information — vehicle, service, and the concern — for it to be reviewed.

  3. 03

    Review

Grandett evaluates the concern against the confirmed service scope and the vehicle's condition.

  4. 04

    Correction When Appropriate

If correction is appropriate, Grandett addresses that specific area so it meets the applicable service standard.

Reach Grandett through the contact page and describe the specific area involved.

14. Correction Process

Once a concern is reviewed, Grandett will confirm what was found and what correction, if any, is appropriate within the confirmed service. If a correction is appropriate, Grandett and the customer arrange a time for that specific area to be addressed. If a concern falls outside the confirmed scope — for example a condition that requires a different or higher-level service — Grandett will explain that and outline the available options instead of leaving it unanswered.

15. Policy Updates

This Service Policy may be updated as services and operations evolve. The date shown at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. The version in effect is the one published here at the time your service is confirmed.
